I know, that there is a built in library, but it doesn't have a lot of useful algorithms. I tried to find them myself, but I found only bunch of libraries, that have less functionality, than c++ std library.

Before downvoting, consider this: I searched for post, where I can i find relevant information. But all relevant posts are downvoted questions without any comments.
I guess that it is because, somewhere we have answer(so older and more influential users downvote any similar question ), but no one can find it(so newer users continue to spam question again and again). As a result we have situation where users can't get information, while feed is full of spam.
So may be you will give me answer, to break this vicious circle?) Or you can downvote the hell out of me, motivating people to post this question again.
P.S. Sorry for mistakes; english is not my first language.
How often are situations, when you have solved problem earlier or at the same as other participants, but he is above you because his code is faster and consumes less memory?(Given that both codes are fast enough to pass all test cases) Is it possible on codeforce or any other platform and tournament? In that case how often does it happen? Sorry, for grammar, I am not a native speaker.
