That is true, but Codeforces should provide a formal explanation, backed by clear evidence, to users whose accounts are disabled. For example, my friend JonKhan had his account disabled without any apparent reason, and he didn’t even receive an email explaining the decision. You can check his skipped submissions yourself they appear completely normal. Users deserve a clear explanation of what they allegedly did wrong, rather than having their accounts disabled without any proper justification.
Looked for one second and saw clear evidence, so no, users don't deserve anything
can you share it with us?
Cannot
Why not nifeshe ??? we also want to get clarity of the matter
No. Basic cheating detection works by not revealing the methods cheaters coaght by. If it was publicly published, they'll soon rendere useless because cheaters will get around them.
Check this out
Oh, yes! It seems really like AI-made especially the beginning with a lot of unuseful
includes.this thing feels sus (in solution of D target infection)
bool cmp(const vector &v1, const vector &v2) { return v1[0] < v2[0]; }
and then later
sort(a.begin(), a.end(), cmp);
any normal human would just do sort(a.begin(), a.end()) (at least as per me)
this does slightly improve performance by making vectors like
{1, 2, 3}and{1, 5, 6}interchangeable in the sort. if you do plain sort you could potentially hack it by making the vectors all identical, making sort take $$$O(n\cdot k\cdot \log n)$$$ where $$$n$$$ is the number of vectors and $$$k$$$ is the length of each one. Also, if there is a vector which is empty. Your code will get a segmentation error.
but in that case vectors were of length 2
maybe didn't know that vectors already had an
operator<?it might be, but its been 2 years for him since he started
He said that his logic in the beginning was different which needed a custom comp when I asked from him
Why would an Ai do such a thing like if we assume Jon used AI why would the AI do such a dumb thing when it can write a normal sort.
yeah but why would a normal human do this, AI might have done this because as kaislash said it improves performance
Yeah but you are ignoring the fact that he was sitting next to another CPer who didn't see Jon cheating.
a person simply sitting next to JonKhan during the contest and them not seeing you cheat is no solid proof, that person should not even be looking at JonKhan's screen(if they are participating) and if they were the entire contest then that's a different issue
Actually maybe he even didn't look at Jon to make sure he's not cheating.
Yeah but free AI is really silly
I also usually write a custom comparator for pairs and vectors as I dont trust the usual operations and I just want it to work the way I want to, yk just to be extra sure, I'm just a little paranoid about that, does that mean I use AI? Also in this case I did consult him and he said that his logic previously required for him to sort it in reverse order and he just doesn't use (rbegin, rend) the reason why: idk its just his coding style nothing sus abt that
And yeah also in a contest when a person has to change logic so he tries to make as small changes in his code for instance, possible to save time as sometimes many people including me make a segment tree for a prefix minimum realizing at the end that there were no updates
Yes but will you change your
cmpbut not delete the use ofcmpin sort to save time?Do you think it saves more time to change or to delete three chars?
(Hope you not angry with my rude words)
Well yeah if a person is coding normally will remove cmp but in a contest a person has a different state of mind so sometimes things he does are not the best due to having less time to make decisions
oh ok then thats not sus, fine.
Bro ainot that what we do when are are previously doing the other way...
And no one will use the useless things like
<ios>without<bits/stdc++.h>(at least i think so)just put fries in the bag bro he clearly cheated
see the link
see this report! i'll gather his all solution codes and create a report on that too like past 30-35 submissions...then it'll get clear.
Sharing live round solving recording will be doing if it is not a proof of authenticity then the loop hole in the system only disabling 2year old id just because your moss said it and it does not the see the dedication and Grind @Ankr08
how do you even appeal? I want to know why this Saba_Kharebava account got closed and if my appeal will be accepted.
Same issue as not abdulmunim, i have a friend who I have seen competing in person and he has just not competed on codeforces contests, he started competing and excelled but was banned, he's trying to find a way to communicate the issue but it's just being impossible, he also uses an unorthodox coding style so it's even less likely he is using ai for these problems. Hey,
I hate having to make a post like this, but I. My original account (huwwa) got disabled just two days after I created it, and it’s been 50 days now with zero change.
I hadn't even participated in any contest. All I did was grind the easiest problems for 10 or 11 hours straight. I'm guessing the system flagged my activity and mistook me for a bot.
"Why bother? Just make a new account."
Well, I ended up having to make a new one anyway, but I still really disagree with how this whole thing was handled, for a few reasons:
I hope I can restore my original account back.

Regarding the use of AI and fraud, wouldn't it be possible to create a program that invalidates your entry into the contest if you leave the program, for example, if you access an unauthorized URL (like in the Duolingo English test)? Or use a system similar to the IOI's, where you only have access to the necessary resources? This might decrease the number of entries in contests, but I think most people would be able to set up the system on their computers.
