Hi Codeforces!
We are excited to invite you to CCAPC 2026, the first-ever ICPC-style programming competition organized by the Canyon Crest Academy Programming and Problem Solving Club!
The contest will take place on Sunday, October 18, 2026, both in person at Canyon Crest Academy in San Diego, California, and online here on Codeforces.
General Information
- Date: Sunday, October 18, 2026
- In-Person Event: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM PDT (check-in begins at 8:30 AM)
- Contest Time: 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM PDT (3.5 hours)
- Team Size: Up to 3 members
- In-Person Location: Canyon Crest Academy, San Diego, California
- In-Person Perks: Free lunch, merch, and post-contest activities!
- Prizes: Devin subscription packages, with prizes available for both in-person and online competitors!
Format & Difficulty
In-Person: Due to the number of registered Advanced teams, the in-person competition will now feature one combined division, rather than separate Beginner and Advanced divisions.
Online: The contest will retain Beginner and Advanced divisions, each featuring 12 original problems.
The online Beginner Division is aimed at competitors around the USACO Bronze/Silver level, while the Advanced Division is intended for USACO Gold and above. The divisions are roughly comparable to Codeforces Div. 4 and Div. 3 difficulty, respectively.
The contest is primarily aimed at participants rated below 2100 on Codeforces, but everyone is welcome to participate! Online teams will compete in their registered division.
All problems are equally weighted. Teams are ranked by the number of problems solved, with penalty time used to break ties. Incorrect submissions incur a 20-minute penalty only for problems that are eventually solved.
Prizes
Thanks to gracious sponsoring of Cognition, we are able to offer Devin subscription packages to winning teams, generously valued at $3,000 and $500!
- $3,000 Prize Package: 12 months of Devin + $600 in Devin credits
- $500 Prize Package: 2 months of Devin + $100 in Devin credits
These prizes are subscriptions and credits, not cash. Every member of a winning team will receive the corresponding prize package individually!
In-Person Prizes (Combined Division)
- 1st Place: $3,000 prize package + medals
- 2nd–5th Place: $500 prize package + medals
- 6th Place: Medals
All members of the top 6 in-person teams will receive medals!
Online Prizes
Beginner Division - 1st Place: $500 prize package
Advanced Division - 1st Place: $3,000 prize package - 2nd Place: $500 prize package
There are no additional prize-eligibility restrictions for online participants.
Online Shirt Raffle
We also plan to raffle CCAPC shirts to online participants after the competition!
All online participants will be eligible to enter the raffle, regardless of division. Selected recipients will only need to cover the shipping fees.
More information about the raffle will be announced after the contest.
Registration & Online Participation
To participate, please complete the registration form and join our Codeforces group.
The contest will be hosted entirely on Codeforces, so online participants can compete remotely without attending the in-person event.
Before the contest, please:
- Join the CCAPC Codeforces group. All team members should join.
- Create or join a Codeforces team. One member should create the team and invite their teammates.
- Register for your contest as a team through the Codeforces group once registration becomes available. Online participants should select their registered division.
We strongly encourage everyone to complete these steps before contest day.
For questions, technical assistance, and contest announcements, please join our Discord server.
More information is available on our website, and you can view our contest flyer.
