Я уверен, что те из вас, кто пытался провести соревнования по программированию или написать свои утилиты для работы с контестами, знакомы с положением дел. Есть множество несовместимых форматов, никто не знает, как именно все должно работать, Polygon полон не описанных и на первый взгляд несовместимых опций, ej-polygon как будто никогда не работает полностью корректно, в архивы жюри приходится вносить изменения под каждую платформу, нестандартные виды задач требуют постоянной поддержки и хаков, и так далее.
Я столкнулся со всеми этими недочетами, когда пошел писать свою тестирующую систему и внезапно обнаружил, что самая нетривиальная часть — не тестирование сложных нестандартных задач, а обработка искусственной сложности, введенной устаревшим софтом и стандартами. Так что вот он я, решаю эти проблемы.

Checker is a program that should be written when task allows more than one correct solution. Although it seems that it is very easy to write checker, there are lots of important technical details that are easy to forget if you don't use a special library like testlib.h.
A common convention is that a checker should be a program taking three command-line arguments: the testdata filename, the participant output filename and the jury answer filename. Checker should read the contents of the input, output and answer, decide whether participant answer is correct (and optimal being compared to the jury's answer if there can be unoptimal answer in this task) and return one of several pre-defined verdicts:

Have you wanted to host an OI style contest on codefroces but faced the problem of different scoring methods between IOI and codeforces? codeforces takes the maximum score over all submissions while IOI takes the maximum score over all subtasks then sums the score of the subtasks.
Another difficulty was when the subtask has test cases with partial scoring. IOI takes the minimum achieved score while codeforces sums the scores of all cases in the subtask.

Интерактивные задачи: алгоритм тестирования В последнее время формат типичных задач на соревнованиях по программированию расширяется новым видом задач, которые принято называть интерактивными. Решения таких задач в некотором роде общаются (взаимодействуют) с тестирующей оболочкой. Обычно, интерактивные задачи используются для задач двух видов:
- Задачи на online-алгоритмы, т.е. такие алгоритмы, которые не читают все входные данные сразу, а могут читать их только по мере своей работы. Простой пример: задано множество из n чисел. Количество контестов на Codeforces неуклонно растёт, а теперь ещё появились и тренировки. Найти среди блогов разбор задач или анонс для конкретного соревнования становится практически невыполнимой задачей, особенно, если соревнование проходило достаточно давно.
В связи с этим нами введена новая возможность прикрепления блогов Codeforces и любых других внешних ресурсов к соревнованиям. Для прикрепления блога достаточно нажать на скрепку под его заголовком и заполнить всплывающую форму. На странице же контеста в боковом фрейме можно прикрепить в качестве ресурса произвольный URL. Там же можно увидеть уже прикреплённые к соревнованию ресурсы. На видимость ресурсов влияет текущая локаль пользователя и состояние соревнования, например, вы не сможете увидеть в этом списке условия задач до начала контеста, а разборы --- до его завершения.

Can I use the Polygon/Gym system to run a local programming contest? I'm preparing a local programming contest for my university. It turns out that Polygon development system is the perfect tool for this kind of job, and I want to use the system in real contest too. The problem is that during the contest, participants are not allowed to access internet. I'm afraid to use PC^2 system because of several reasons:
* No multiple input files: All input files should be concentrated to one file
* No checker. Actually it's possible to use a checker, but one has to write judgement in XML format or run the checker manually (I'm not 100% sure about it).
* It's hard to configure the system
* Sometimes the system clogs up judge computer's memory. Two years before we had to reset the whole system because computer couldn't handle too much memory load.
Maybe I misused the PC^2 system, but still I'd strongly prefer Polygon/Gym system. Can I use it while keeping every participants away from the internet(maybe except for contest page)? Participants' PC are connect...

Вопрос по Polygon - номера файлов с тестами <p>Недавно делал маленький контест в полигоне. Почти все понравилось - после выкачивания package мне было достаточно разархивировать данные в тестирующую систему и поменять xml-файл с настройками.<br><br>А не понравилось вот что: файлы с тестами, генерируемые на полигоне, имеют вид 01 и 01.a, ..., 99 и 99.a, а затем 100 и 100.a и т.д.<br>Если тестов больше 100, то я не могу задать в xml-ке с настройками маски входных и выходных файлов, т.к. у некоторых тестов имя состоит из двух символов, а у некоторых - из трех. Приходится писать скрипт для переименования, что не очень удобно.<br><br>В связи с этим есть предложение: добавить в полигон настройку имен файлов с тестами. Думаю, это очень несложно.</p>

Алгоритм нахождения всех интервалов, содержащих заданную точку Начал смотреть лекцию [ШАД "Задачи геометрического поиска"](http://shad.yandex.ru/lectures/algorithms_11.xml). Там обсуждается следующая задача:<br>
есть 3 типа запросов на прямой:<br>
1. Добавить интервал (l..r)<br>
2. Удалить интервал (l..r)<br>
3. Вывести все интервалы, содержащие точку x<br><br>
В лекции не стали рассказывать полное решение. Было лишь сказано, что задача решается путем построения сбалансированного дерева, ключами которого являются левые границы интервалов.
В лекции сказано, что эту задачу можно решать за асимптотику O(k + logn) на запрос 3 (и видимо за O(logn) на остальные запросы), насколько я понял.
Можете объяснить решение, которое подразумевалось в лекции, либо посоветовать литературу по этому вопросу?
Также, если предложенное в лекции решение не оптимально, то интересна оценка и доказательство асимптотики такого алгоритма.
