Hello everyone, I would like to request the Codeforces team to consider conducting more Div3 and Div4 contests. These contests are extremely helpful for beginners and new competitive programmers. Many students who are new to Codeforces find Div2 contests quite difficult at the beginning, and Div3/Div4 rounds help them build confidence and learn the contest environment.

Benefits of more Div3/Div4 contests: • Beginner-friendly problems • Helps new users stay motivated • Smooth transition to higher divisions like Div2 and Div1

Many new users join Codeforces every week, and increasing the frequency of Div3/Div4 rounds could help the community grow even stronger.

Thank you to the Codeforces team for maintaining such an amazing platform for programmers.

Have a great day!

I think we have enough Div3 / 4 contests. We already have 5 this year. Last year we had 22 of them. And you always have ABCs, LeetCode contests and CC Starters every week for whatever benefits you mentioned.

Not to mention the fact that not counting yourself as capable of embracing the challenges of a round for which you are rated is definitely not going to make the community grow stronger :(

But more should be feasible as well. Don't you think CF needs to bear a cost to conduct every contest?

That's a fair point. I understand that organizing contests requires effort from problem setters and coordinators. My suggestion was mainly about supporting beginners, but of course it depends on whether it is feasible for Codeforces to organize more rounds.

That's true, but don't you think that CF should make those competitions free? I think if so many people want to make them then the div 3 and 4 can be free? Just an idea, I don't think it can be very incorporable.

OK, so next time, when you've spent a year preparing for a competition, and I need to pay you, I'll tell you: this competition is for beginners, so you won't be paid. Isn't that wonderful to you?
