Hey CF Community,

Competitive Programming has always been a solo grind — countless hours of solving problems, climbing the rating ladder, and pushing your limits. But what if we made it more dynamic, personal, and real-time competitive?

Introducing a new format that redefines the CP experience: 1v1 Blitz Style Showdowns.

What Is a Blitz Style Showdown?

  • A unique format where users can schedule a battle, and others from across the globe can join in.
  • Players can set a desired rating range to match with suitable opponents.
  • Both participants receive the same set of problems under a strict time constraint.
  • The blitz mechanism makes it even more intense — only one player can solve a problem.
  • Global leaderboard is created based on user performance(Currently Beta version).

Features of Our Platform

  • Solo Battles: Practice in a contest-like environment with a time based point-decay system.
  • Room Battles: Compete with your CP friends in private rooms.
  • 1v1 Battles: Challenge any Codeforces user globally in head-to-head blitz duels.
  • Global Ranking: Rank based on performance in 1v1 battles.
  • Network Across Globe: Engage with fellow coders through our built-in chat rooms during matches.

Still in Beta — Your Feedback Matters

This is a bold new experiment, and we’re starting small — testing, improving, evolving. You might face bugs or hiccups — and that’s where you come in. Try the platform. Share your feedback. Help us shape the future of fast-format CP.

Join the Revolution

Tired of passive grinding? Want to spice up your CP routine? Head over to the 1v1 Arena and challenge a friend (or a stranger) — and let the showdown begin.

CF Battleground A New Era of Competitive Programming

Let’s build this together — a new era of Competitive Programming starts now.

UPD 1: Hey everyone, this website is created to give you platform where you can practice(just like contest), collaborate with friends in private room and main feature is you can compete with anyone across world. This gives each rating user a opportunity to compete with other of similar rating, helps in checking what is current level with respect to others of same rating on cf.

I agree it is prone to cheatings during battle, for that only I have provided pre battle room where both participants can discuss about upcoming battle. Both can also agree to play a proctored battle using Gmeet kind of app.

It is an initiative taken for the community to provide a different coding style and can be made a new style of CP when many users come to know about this. So kindly share to your CP friends and college groups. If I get response that people are loving this way of competing, than only in future we can host tournaments using this format and incorporate some other features.

this looks very interesting and has great potential ... great work / website / platform!

obviously, it suffers from the possibility of opponents cheating, just as with CF or AtCoder, etc. did you think of any way to do something different than these platforms to prevent this happening?

Currently, I haven't implemented that as it is very difficult to control that. But for that I have given pre battle room option where players can discuss about the issue. And for fair contest user can definitely use some screen sharing app like google meet, this would also help in developing habit of giving proctored test.

This 1v1 Blitz Showdown idea sounds awesome! It's a great way to add some excitement and direct competition to CP. I'm looking forward to trying it out and seeing how it evolves.

Looks very intersting I can't lie. However it doesn't show that I need to verify my cf account when I sign in, so I can use any cf account I want?

This is the reason it is in beta version. Once people start to use, I will be using authentication system. Using this will make it's rating legit just as other CP platform rating, which can also be used to show off in resume. Also rating calculation is derived from Chess.com rating algo.

I had also made similar project, but my project don't depend on codeforces.

It's wonderful.

Game-changer for CP! 1v1 duels, real-time battles, and global rankings turn coding into a thrilling sport. Love the 'solve-or-lose' blitz mode—no more passive grinding. Beta bugs? Worth it. Can’t wait to compete! #CPJustGotCooler

Tried it, that is cool!

Feature request: add possibility to unschedule your battle. Because battling against the void is not always interesting :D

Played some matches, its a very interesting and fun idea.

I have a suggestion for a gamemode that could fit well with this CP pvp format, a "Bingo Match", where the problems are arranged in an NxN grid, and the player/team who completes a row or column of solutions first wins the match. Additionally, there could be rules such as: if someone submits a more optimal solution to a problem already solved by their opponent, they "steal" that problem from them, making it more dynamic. It could be fun.

This website has more features, such as 2v2, 3v3, multi question duels, daily question and achievement systems, etc. If you want to use this website, perhaps you can use ChatGPT for translation. When selecting questions, you can adjust the difficulty range to exactly 100, for example, [800, 2100] is a commonly used range.

Yes, this is great. But, I am building this platform where cp enthusiast can have fun as well as serious practice and competitions. These are some initials of my thought, there is alot more to come. I would really appreciate community support in building a website which serves for all level of competitive programmers.
