Hi, I am curious. At what age do successful competitive programmers such as IOI gold medal winners start CP?
Name |
---|
from birth
$$$n \in \mathbb{R}, n \in (0,100]$$$
hah anoob u wont ever get gold like me ahah i started at age $$$n$$$ lolll
You can star CP anytime. You dont have to start CP from birth to take IOI gold medal. For example there is many people who achieved IOI gold medal in 2(and less) years.
you can get gold medal with 2 years of practice if u practice like 10 hrs a day, gold medal is absurdly hard to get, u literally have to be the top 40 or smth high school coders in the entire world
i suggest u just practice for the fun of it and u treat the medal as an indicator of ur skil and not ur goal
also i hate coding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm not successful but I started at 18
whenever u're brain is still functioning, past 30s it's basically pointless, but someone maybe successful
but when u're a kid, maybe 11/12 you'll learn the best
Well in JBOI 2023 i got an honorable mention , if you consider that succesful , 12
Is 14 years a good age?
Why not , you still have 4 years of IOI
