Iran National OI Team Selection Contests Hello everyone!
We are glad to invite you to participate in the Iran National OI Team Selection contests.
Every year in Iran, the Iranian National Olympiad in Informatics (INOI) committee conducts a summer camp to choose 8 top students to prepare them for next year's IOI and a spring camp to choose 4 out of those 8 to form the Iranian national team in IOI.
After the successful experience of holding the mirror of last year’s summer camp contest with few contestants, we are going to have the mirror of our national team selection on a larger scale.

Palindromic tree: behind the scenes Hi everyone!
As some of you may know, on this summer camp in Petrozavodsk [user:MikhailRubinchik,2014-09-25] presented a new data structure, palindromic tree. I had the honor to participate in the study of the structure for the six months before that, and I want to tell about it now :)

Let's to each palindrome assign corresponding string equal to its right half, i.e., its radius and the boolean variable indicating its parity. Now let's merge all our radii of subpalindromes of string $S$ in two prefix trees for even and odd lengths separately. Claim: such trie will be $\mathit O(n)$ in memory. Indeed, there can be no more than $n$ distinct subpalindromes in the string, and each node in trie corresponds with only one unique palindrome. Therefore, we have no more than $n + 2$ nodes.

RunTwice Contest in Universal Cup! Hi!
The next stage of Universal Cup, Run Twice Contest, will happen on December 30-31, 2023.
As the name suggests, all problems in the contest are in run-twice format.
I am the author of the contest.
Originally, the contest was held in Petrozavodsk Summer Camp 2022.
The plan was to hold it later as an Opencup stage, in order to further introduce the format to a wider audience.
Alas, Opencup got suspended around that time.

Problem converting Z function to prefix function and vice versa I was solving the string section problems from Brazilian summer camp 2018, and there were following problems:

OCPC Summer 2025 Indonesia Mirror Camp Hello everyone!

We are very excited to announce that Indonesia will be hosting an official mirror camp of the [OCPC 2025 Summer](https://codeforces.me/blog/entry/142531), and it is open to teams from around the world!
The mirror camp will be held on **August 15th-23rd, 2025**, which was chosen to be shortly before the ICPC World Finals. The camp is hosted by BINUS University in Jakarta. As this is a mirror camp, all the problem sets are the same as the main OCPC camp in Bucharest.
Although we chose this date to prepare for the ICPC World Finals, the camp is open for every teams, both ICPC World Finalists and teams who aspire to become the next World Finalists.

Это уже наши третьи открытые сборы серии Volga Camp, чему мы, безусловно, рады.
Напомним, что Volga Camp мы проводим дважды в год совместно с Ярославским государственным университетом им. Демидова.
В этом году мы насчитали 49 участников, включая студентов из Москвы и Архангельска, а также студентов и школьников из Ярославля, Ростова и Владикавказа.
По традиции сборы прошли в Ярославле на базе ЯрГУ и продлились 10 дней. На этот раз занятия проводились только для индивидуальных участников младшего дивизиона, а главной темой стали алгоритмы на графах.

Teaching algorithms to high school students in Ethiopia Hi everyone!
This summer I participated in the program AddisCoder 2019. It is a five-week intensive summer camp where high school students from different regions of Ethiopia learning the basics of programming and algorithms. Next summer the program will be held as well.
It was an amazing experience because I met a lot of cool and passionate students, teaching assistants and professors. As for TAs, we were working on problems for students, helping them with exercises, giving mini-lectures and had a lot of fun exploring Ethiopia together in our free time.
Students chosen for this program are good. They were selected by the Ministry of Education based on their achievements during studying in high school or applied themselves. OCPC 2025 Summer just concluded for Bucharest and remote participants. I hope everyone involved had lots of fun participating, and ended up learning something new and useful for official competitive programming events.
As it is always extremely tricky to schedule onsite events like this in Summer, I once again ask for your help with determining the best conditions that we can provide to accommodate as much participants as possible.
Historically, OCPC participation, both onsite and remote was smaller in summer than in winter, due to various reasons, including internships, conflicting events, and more. У нас получилось по-настоящему всероссийское мероприятие, ведь участие в нем приняли студенты из самых разных ВУЗов страны.
Как и зимние сборы Volga Camp, они длились 2 недели и проходили на базе Ярославского государственного университета им. П.Г. Демидова.
Занятия проводились для двух дивизионов: младший для участников, которые готовятся выйти в полуфинал ACM ICPC, и старший для тех, кто нацелен на финал.
В старшем дивизионе упор был сделан на прорешивание контестов высокого уровня сложности и тренировку командной работы, в младшем же, помимо командных тренировок, проводились и лекционные занятия, а также тематические контесты.
В течение сборов составлялся рейтинг участников в зависимости от количества решенных задач, поэтому любое свободное время они старались посвящать дорешиванию задач, разборы которых, кстати, проводились после каждого контеста.

Volga Camp is a school targeting algorithms, data structures and special mathematical chapters for school students of the 7th grade and older. Series of Educational Rounds continue being held as [Harbour.Space University](https://harbour.space/) initiative! You can read the details about the cooperation between [Harbour.Space University](https://harbour.space/) and Codeforces in the <a href="http://codeforces.me/blog/entry/51208">blog post</a>.
This round will be **rated for the participants with rating lower than 2100**. It will be held on extended ICPC rules. The penalty for each incorrect submission until the submission with a full solution is 10 minutes. After the end of the contest you will have 12 hours to hack any solution you want. You will have access to copy any solution and test it locally.
You will be given **7 problems** and **2 hours** to solve them.

How does IT work in Iran. Part 2 Before leaving Tehran I asked [user:SeMeKh,2013-02-19] a couple of questions on how the training for the competitions works in Iran.
There are local and regional Olympiads in Informatics in Iran which take place across the whole country. Top 40 winners will get together in so-called Golden Camp and train the whole summer, with a break of 2-3 weeks in [Ramadan](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ramadan), **so the camp duration exceeds 2 months**. We are going to hold some online OI-style contests, the tasks are the selected tasks, chosen from the older Iran national team selection contests.
The level of these contests is around the IOI, maybe a bit simpler, and the main reason of them is to help Iranian students to prepare better for the summer camp contests, which will be held around 3 weeks from now and the national medalists will be chosen there.

We are an independent non-profit entity with the support of Bev.Foundation and we provide a neutral umbrella for all Turkish hackers.

2025 SI@UCF Competitive Programming Summer Camp for High School Students 
The University of Central Florida has offered a summer competitive programming camp for high school students for over 10 years now. Multiple former students have gone onto attend the USACO Camp and one former student earned a gold medal in IOI. Several students later went onto attend the ICPC World Finals. The camp is supported by teaching assistants from the UCF Programming Team, which consistently performs well at the ICPC World Finals, earning a Bronze Medal in 2018.
