On the last year i saw many coders using far manager like tourist and others. What is the advantage of using far manager as a IDE ? why so many programmers are using this ?

In spite of use gedit + simple compiler(ubuntu) i have to agree that VIM is very good! But WHY FAR MANAGER?(I already try but is one of the worst things that i ever tried).

Oops, I forgot to mention the most important: you can do this with Shift key and in that matter Far Manager's editor behave just like any 'standard' text editor (Kate, Notepad, IntelliJ IDEA).
