I believe recently many people have this post.

At first I didn't whether it was true and commented kind of seriously.

However I found something interesting later:

Translation : On November 25, 2025, local time, a judge of the Brazilian Federal Supreme Court ruled that former President Jair Bolsonaro must begin serving his prison sentence of 27 years and 3 months.

Then I commented with the picture but received downvotes. So I searched informations on bing.

And note he participated in three contests in last two months. According to bing, Jair Bolsonaro is 70 years old now.

So that's like:

  • A former president begin to learn CP about two month ago.
  • He was sent to jail and because of his love (?) for CP, he managed to come online on codeforces!

In short, the post is completely ridiculous. I hope it can be deleted by the administrator.

I wonder how foolish a person is who will be attracted by his onion perfume

I have to say, this is extremely ridiculous, because a post like this, which anyone with basic judgment skills could see the problem with, actually managed to get 300 likes.

Hello, it is I, former Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro. Unfortunately, the prison guards saw my Codeforces blog and banned me from my account! Fortunately, I have many connections and thus have found another account through which I can comment.

I will simply say that your claim that my post is ridiculous is completely unfounded. After my failed coup against my political opponent Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, I struggled to find much purpose in my life besides competitive programming. Succeeding at my Brazilian Super Coder Project would be a dream come true!

Competitive programming is insanely hard. It takes real smarts and years of focused grind, which is why it’s such a valuable skill on the job market. It’s also been the starting point for people who went on to build billion-dollar companies and major pieces of modern tech. That’s the level of excellence it can represent.

When someone as strong as you can’t recognize an obvious joke and treats it like serious news, it reinforces the cliché that people only get this good because they’re not adapted to the real world and just hid behind a screen as a stock early-2000s geek. That’s not even how you end up at this level; that path makes you good at video games, not at a demanding problem-solving craft.

Reactions like this don’t lift the scene; they push it back into the "too nerdy, no common sense" box that makes regular people avoid being associated with (competitive) programming. The same goes for the endless anime references and "no girlfriend" jokes. That culture might look harmless, but it really holds the community back.

Now that post is gone forever :(

At first I didn't whether it was true and commented kind of seriously.

You should practice taking context clues from April Fools contests

In short, the post is completely ridiculous. I hope it can be deleted by the administrator.

I think people should be allowed to have fun.
