Greetings, Codeforces community! We’re thrilled to invite you to AlgoClash, presented by Ingenuity — the coding club of IIT Bhilai — in collaboration with Meraz 6.0, the annual techno-cultural fest of IIT Bhilai.

About AlgoClash

AlgoClash is a two-stage competitive programming event designed to test your algorithmic thinking, speed, and precision.

Round 1 – Online Contest

• Date: 9th November 2025
• Platform: Codeforces
• Difficulty: Div. 3 Level
• Entry Fee: Free for all participants
• Details: Standard Codeforces-style contest. Test your skills and earn a place among the Top 16 finalists for the Grand Finale.

Round 2 – Lockout Grand Finale (Offline)

• Venue: IIT Bhilai Campus, Bhilai, District Durg, Chhattisgarh – 491002
• Date: 15th November 2025
• Format: Head-to-head Lockout Tournament
• Top 16 Finalists:
  • 8 participants from IIT Bhilai
  • 8 based on overall performance in Round 1
• Contestants will face off in an intense coding duel where speed, accuracy, and strategy define the champion.

Rules & Guidelines

• Free to Enter: Open to all students.
• Individual Event: Solo participation only.
• No AI Assistance: Use of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot) is strictly prohibited.
• Languages: Any language supported by Codeforces.
• Round 1 Ranking: Based on the number of problems solved; ties are broken by standard Codeforces penalty time.
• Round 2 Format: Single-elimination Lockout duels.
• Note: An event access pass is required for the offline round.
