Participants from all countries are welcome! However, please note that only high school students from Serbia will be considered official contestants.

Only the top 4 official contestants will qualify for Serbia's national team, specifically high school students from the country. In exceptional cases, primary school students (typically 7th and 8th graders, and occasionally younger) may be considered eligible as high school students.

You are automatically qualified to participate! There are no restrictions on who can join. However, please note the eligibility criteria for official participation.

No. You should participate in a contest organized by DMS (Društvo Matematičara Srbije) instead. At the moment, I am not eligible to send a team to any other major Olympiad. However, I believe this may change in the coming years. While I can only confirm participation in the CEOI for now, there is a possibility we may also attend other 'super-regional' Olympiads. Therefore, it is in your best interest to perform to the best of your ability.

Yes! There are 2 rounds in total, with each round consisting of two Olympic days (usually weekends). Each day features 3 problems with subtasks, and there are 5 hours to solve them. The maximum score for each problem is 100. The top 4 students who qualify for the CEOI are determined only after both rounds. We sum the scores from both rounds and select the highest ones. Therefore, the total possible score is $$$2\cdot 2\cdot 3 \cdot 100 = 1200$$$.

Interview. CEOI participants are required to take it. It is a measure to prevent cheating. The interviewers will ask you a few classical coding questions. Realistically, if you qualify for the CEOI, the interview should be easy for you. We do not mean to pressure you; rather, we want to verify that you solved the problems legitimately. It is not hard to detect if you have cheated, so please refrain from doing so. It will save both you and us from any embarrassment.

There is no such thing as 'failure.' Since this is the first year of SNOI TST, we do not have divisions. Everyone will solve the same problems. The goal is to select the CEOI team, so the tasks will be challenging. I believe any score is an achievement!

The interviews will be held online on weekdays between May 5th and May 9th. Realistically, if you're in the top 4, you should pass the interview without any issues. However, if you're caught cheating, the next contestant on the leaderboard will be invited to the interview.
