When tourist got 4009 his title changed to Tourist, and now jiangly's title is Jiangly, so can I infer that as long as a person get a rating over 4000, their title is just same their own handle (with a capital letter)?
Some randomly anonymous guy who doesn't want me to say his username from my class promised to become "_Luqyou_ luqyou" one day.
only it appears that as of the current time, max rank of jiangly has went back to being "tourist"????
When two people's ratings are above 4000 at the same time, the truth can be discovered!
I think is Mike is planning something like this:
Everyone who achieves 4000 rating should have their respected and unique rank given to only them.
So, if Tourist gets back to 4000 rating, he will be given "Tourist" rank.
And say, another LGM gets 4000 rating, he/she will be given their own name as their rank.
This should balance all things, because whoever reaches that rating should have recognition and tribute.
Imagine someone with handle name "ILoveTanya" or "ILoveSwati" etc obtains their title but then they break up with whoever they in loved with, they have to carry the burden of their ex
They can just message mike for name change like he mentioned here link.
I don't understand, who will EVER break up with someone who has 4000+ on codeforces?
Can't wait to be recognized as a stupid guy
yeah but in general hard to achieve tasks prove to be achievable by the masses once someone achieve them, this is known as Roger Bannister effect
Why do you all care about that, you'll NEVER reach 4k.
I don't think jiangly thought like you when he was CM...
You might never reach 4k but that doesn't apply to everyone else. There is no reason to believe that they can't hit 4k if they wanted to since it has obviously been done before.
Ahaha, so u r telling that everyone can reach 4000? Ahahahaha, ridiculous, ahahahahaha!
The maximum rating of tourist is still titled "tourist" (I mean, it literally says "Contest rating: 3841 (max. tourist, 4009)" on his profile page), so I think this might actually be the case.
Mike told me after at least 5 coders pass 4000 then he will think...
Creating a new category called (maybe?) 'Hall of Fame' featuring all users who achieved 4000+ points along with their highest rating, would be nice.
