Hi, have just (re-)started CP and almost always, the solution I think of is wrong at the end. I feel I have cracked the logic needed but some edge cases or logical errors appear at the end when I test my solution. If I pass the primary test cases, I fail at the hidden test cases. Things can't be this slow. Each question I solve takes about 1 hr of time. And I am talking about questions of rating 900-1000. I don't have so much time to waste. What should be my approach when I start practising the questions of a new rating level? Fck ratings, at least how to be efficient in my practice instead of draining time.
I have college placements in a few months :((
Logic building takes time, its the same for me but i just started to follow these steps hope its helpful
I give 30 to 50 minutes to each question and when i am stuck i look for tutorial and just read the first few lines or hints then try to rethink. If i get stuck again then i read more of the tutorial.
2) after solving the question i think what was the main logic behind that.
Omg just be consistent.
You took a month-and-a-half long break, did problems for F I V E days, can’t ace through them all so you start crying…
At least do something, before trying to fix it.
well yeah, it seems reasonable!
