yes i agree screencasts serves same purpose

usually if someone has reserved power to also explain their solutions they’re not taking the contest seriously which removes anything exciting about watching a live performance

why would anyone even watch a cf contest stream? there’s nothing interesting about it. you’re watching someone typing in an ide in silence

hi fft

What's wrong with the current format? If we use your format then the node ids for the trees won't always start at $$$1$$$, which might be a less bit less intuitive if you view the graph as disjoint trees.

I'm not sure what rules you are talking about, but there will most definitely be a queue since our team of reviewers for these lower divisions is smaller than the usual reviewers. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how long the queue becomes.

so auraful

speed is important

The cf format rewards speed; it isn't the problem's fault.

proofs are not required

ok, is that a bad thing? the only way i can think of requiring proofs is: here is some artificial operation i just invented and you will now be forced to find and and prove my observation.

I don't see the bad in using your intuitions to skip the need for a proof for a problem. You can develop such intuitions with solving more problems / developing mathematical knowledge. It's what this platform is about.

guessforces problems aren't inherently bad, they just shouldn't appear on codeforces

If they're bad, why shouldn't they appear on codeforces? Where should they appear?

why couldn't you simply guess the solution?

multirun is not supported by the cf infrastructure as far as we know

An official one will be coming soon so you can keep the old title.

we've entered a new era where ai users roam free while legit users are sent to the gulag

This contest has changed my life. My whole outlook on everything that exists in this world, in fact even in the entire universe. I can never look at anything I know the same way ever again. This contest represents emotions most humans could never comprehend. But I can. Thanks to this contest I have been awakened to many things previously thought unimaginable. Thank you

Well yes, you should run your solution against the AI brute force. If it doesn’t match, you should investigate both.

On askd → My thoughts on 2138D1B, 14 months ago
+3

Note that GPT does not need to solve the problem to write an exponential brute force, so you can do this with any problem of any difficulty and ensure its correctness.

On askd → My thoughts on 2138D1B, 14 months ago
+19

writing such things [an exponential brute force] are tedious, especially if you have to do it for every single problem

It's not a bad idea just to make ChatGPT do it. Just copy the raw statement and ask it to write an exponential brute force. It's pretty good at it. If a statement is unclear or missing something, GPT might write a wrong brute force or ask for a clarification. This has happened to me.

I hope you will achieve your goals in the next Div. 1. Never give up!

Yes

Let me debunk all your claims.

If they just add people with skips, no one would trust them and use this thing over stuff like tools which just based on skips.

The point of this tool is because skips are major flawed. There are chronic cheaters who have not been caught by skips and those who are falsely skipped. Skips don't mean anything.

They haven't added famous cheaters like Psychotic_D, wuhudsm and LMeyling

The point of this tool is to call out for recent cheaters who have gone undetected, not ancient famous cheaters that we all already know. I have no connections to Psychotic_D or wuhudsm. We can add them, but it would be quite meaningless and isn't what we are priorizing. As for Friedrich, please read this generous reply by Intellegent that he spent his time typing out that you never read.

Adding people with no skips is needed else no one is gonna buy this stuff

We are only focusing on those with no skips. If you want to become a skip checking merchant, be my guest. Anyone can do that without this DB. I think someone already made an extension solely based on skips.

They didn't have chromate00 either before by blog on them.

Again, past famous cheaters aren't a priority. Anyone can check them. We only added it because you insisted. It's not the big cover-up as you make it out to be. Stop spreading misinformation.

They called far a mass downvote in their discord server by their high rated teammates

Idk what you're talking about. Only four of us even bothered to read your BS. No one wants to read 6 paragraphs of your whining and random speculation.

I will be making more such blogs exposing them in future.

Ok, keep wasting your time I guess.

I, one of his most faithful disciples

that was back when we thought AI still mega sucked and there was no way it can solve past B

Please don't be discouraged :( I know prepping a contest under pressure has a lot of work, and finding out that there is a coincidence in your problemset last minute really hurts (I experienced this for myself in Codeforces Round 965 (Div. 2)).

Please continue the positive mentality and I look forward to seeing more stuff from you in the future.

Problems weren't rejected just because GPT could solve them. It just so happens GPT happened to do badly on that round, probably because of chromate00's unusual problemsetting style lol

For the most part, coordinators and authors do not care about whether approved problems are gptable or not.

To quote from the blog:

And I'm not setting problems that I don't like just to satisfy the criteria of it not being able to be solved by AI

this is so skibidi

Well, Roblox has already implemented ID verification for voice chats.

This is probably a terrible comparison but I mean... if roblox is an extremely popular game with billions of players and even they require ID verification through a 3rd party, why not codeforces...?

On reirugan → Cheating survey, 19 months ago

There are several issues with a reporting system. The first is obviously false reports. Well an admin can then review those reports, but it still takes human resources and time that is probably better spent elsewhere.

Well then I thought: why not limit to reporting to div. 1 participants? The issue with this is: it's not hard to reach div. 1 using llms lol. Well how about limiting to red+ only? I doubt red+ participants are really interested in reporting cheaters anyhow, especially when they're not directly affected.
