Hello,

I have been doing CP for almost two years now. Ever since I started, I assumed that doing CP would be similar to something like competitive math, in that all it takes to improve is to practice and learn the strategies and theorems. However, even as I did this for CP, I improved little. Can anyone who is experienced share how they improved? Anything would be appreciated. Thanks!

Stop asking things like this or doubt yourself, and solve as many problems as you can.

just keep going, practice. Don’t stop. Don’t even think about stopping until you get there, and don’t give much thought to where “there” is. Whatever comes, just don’t stop.

I find the best way to practice is think about what your response would be to any blog/comment, no matter what it is. This helps you get better at coming up with snarky remarks or telling advice. Similarly, start writing some cf blogs but don't publish them unless you think they're very good. You will notice that the more you practice writing them, the better quality they become. Also look into latex and similar to get better at formatting. I hope I helped in your practice to getting higher cp contribution rating. :)
