We have updated the generative‑AI rules in ABC,ARC,and AGC. In addition to this, we explicitly prohibit code obfuscation.

Rules

For the full rules, please see:

Changes to the Rules

  • If you want to use code created by generative AI during a contest, you should publish the code before the contest begins and include the URL in your submission.
  • Code obfuscation is now explicitly prohibited.

For the detailed diff, please see this.

I have a quick question. Currently, my solution structure is like this:

  • main solution, written by me during the contest
  • URL to my library
  • parts of my library that I use, minimized (I think it is fair to say they are obfuscated, though not for the purpose of obfuscating)

Will this be considered against new rules? My library, of course, contains a non-minimized version of the code (even including some comments)

    No that's not a violation.

It's hard to define "obfuscation" rigorously, but minimizing the library code doesn't count as obfuscation.
