I noticed something unusual with my streak count.
I accidentally resubmitted a problem that I had already solved. At the time, I didn't realize it was already marked as solved, and I didn't submit any other problem that day. I only noticed this later.
When I'm logged in, my profile shows that day's streak count. However, when I sign out and view the public profile, the streak for that day doesn't appear.
This made me wonder whether the streak was actually recorded correctly or if the profile is displaying different information depending on whether I'm logged in.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is this expected behavior, a synchronization issue, or a bug?
what i think is when you're logged in, the stats show based on the submissions in your local time and when you're logged out, it's shown in UTC.
