UPD (October, 21st 2026): Competencies

New Competencies tab: scores for different aspects of how you train, to help you see why you might be stuck. The first one is Comfort Zone Resistance: how often and how far you push beyond problems you can already solve comfortably.

You get a score, a tier, its history over time, and where your comfort zone is right now. More competencies are coming.

Try it: AlgorEngine. Feedback is very welcome.

Original announcement (September, 26th 2026)

Introducing AlgorEngine, a platform that creates personalized training plans based on your target rating, your performance history, the topics you're weak in, and more.

It's currently in beta: AlgorEngine

Right now, it can generate a personalized training plan based on your current and target Codeforces rating.

The idea behind the training plans:

  • Right difficulty: It starts with problems that should be challenging for you, not problems you can already solve comfortably, and gradually moves toward the difficulty you need to handle at your target rating. More frequency is given to greater difficulty.

  • Based on your solving history: It looks at what you’ve solved before and adjusts the plan accordingly. For example, if you’ve rarely solved DP problems around your target difficulty, it may give you more DP, while giving you less of a topic you already seem comfortable with even at higher ratings.

  • Realistic plan size: It estimates how many problems to include based on your past practice efficiency and how much practice people historically needed to make a similar jump in rating.

  • Diversity: It tries to avoid giving you too many very similar problems.

Feel free to send feedback, report bugs, or request new features using the Send Feedback button at the top of the navbar. Even feedback like “this problem makes no sense here” is genuinely useful at this stage :)

Thanks for sharing, it looks nice! Have you tried AlgorEngine though? They are completely different. A ladder (even a personalized one) is a static list sliced by Codeforces difficulty and tags. A training plan should treat your goal as a whole:

    • Difficulty: the Codeforces difficulty number isn't quite reliable. AlgorEngine estimates each problem's difficulty in a smarter manner and more accurately, then picks problems you'd solve with ≤40% chance today but ≥50% at your target.
    • Redundancy: a training plan should know which problems are similar and avoid giving you too many of them.
    • Size: the number of problems comes from how much practice people who made the same rating jump actually needed, adjusted to your own practice history, instead of a fixed number of problems per ladder.
    • Transparency: each problem shows why it was included and your estimated chance of solving it now vs. at your target.

Hello, I like your website and the problems it has been recommending me so far.

I would like to report a small bug: the training plan counts one less than the amount of problems I have actually done. For example, right now I have done 5/80 of the problems in my training plan, but on the website it shows that only 4/80 are done.
