AFAIK Codeforces doesn't like alt accounts, and in one contest they can be used for cheating (testing submissions on one, and only submitting the correct submission on the other so you get less penalty)

Formally, rules says you should participate in a contest with your only account.
Why are there penalties if you can legally submit your codes in another account first?
not saying you should,
but wouldn't you get caught if you submit the same code as your alt,
code obfuscation might work but it's also illegal.
I think as per new alternate accounts rule it's not allowed to use alternate account for contests. One should participate in contests officially only with one single account
