Alright, why Codeforces is considered the best place to level up in programming — no fluff.

It’s not just “recognize the pattern and code it.” You often sit there stuck, then boom — the solution is one line of math. That’s what actually sharpens your brain. LeetCode is fine for interviews, but Codeforces is where you get faster and sharper for real.

Contests run almost every week, split into divisions — from newbies to top guys. The clock is ticking, you’re catching bugs on the fly, recalling edge cases under pressure. After a couple of those, normal problems feel slow.

Plus there’s a huge archive, editorials, the EDU section, virtual contests — you can train anytime on pretty much anything. The Elo rating gives you a clear goal: today you’re Newbie, then Specialist, then Expert. And you can see if you’re actually growing or just stuck.

And the community is alive. After a contest you open the blog, read how people solved it, and steal half the ideas for yourself.

One downside: if you need a job offer ASAP, Codeforces alone won’t cut it. But if you want to grind algorithms and learn to think fast — that’s the place.
