INTRODUCTION
Automation is a trending topic and branch in every field in IT whether it's AI , Networking , Weather Forecasting , Telemetry , ReInforcement Learning or Time Travel Ideas every where we see scope of Automation . So My first blog in codeforces is about Automation in Network Security . Let's get deep into it .
Network Security
Network Security is a Security of any end device or hidden device from unknown and malicious transfer or requests and response or any malicious file . We use Bare Metal Firewall , Checkpoint , Web Application Firewall , IDS (Intrusion Detection System) and IPS (Intrusion Protection System) to protect a Network , a Network is a interconnection of end systems with Routers , Switches , Hubs , Firewalls , Checkpoints , Cloud and many devices . So if we are in such a dense environment of connected devices we can get any traffic (malicious traffic) from any where and hence we need some Security Policies or Security criteria to make this environment safer and smoother is done using Network Security .
How Using Automation
Network Security involves Packet Inspection , Packet Rejection or discarding , ACL (Access Control Lists) , and Firewall security policies which are made by different specific vendors of different solutions . And so some use modern Inspection of Packet and Security Policies using Programming using Python using Automation using R , Go kind of languages . Automation make the repititive tasks to complete faster and using programming languages like Python , Bash , Go (example. one can do Automation to make a script which makes decision of managing and adminstrating ACL list on a Router or Server) . There are socket , frames , datagram , tcp/ip packets going thru and from one end to other of the Earth and so it becomes tough to manually inspect that packet at every stage , and so we using Automation in Network Security .
