We are happy to announce the 1st Solar System Olympiad in Informatics (SoSOI).

The contest will take place on November 7–8, 2026.

SoSOI is the first informatics olympiad organized for participants from across the Solar System. The competition brings together talented young programmers for two days of algorithmic problem solving and competition.

You will be given 7 problems and 5 hours per day to solve them. The problems will cover a variety of topics, including algorithms and data structures, dynamic programming, graph theory, number theory, computational geometry, and combinatorics.

The competition will be conducted under the same rules for all participants. Due to the distances involved in interplanetary communication, special attention has been given to communication delays and network latency.

Participants will receive official certificates based on their results, with certificates recognizing Gold, Silver, and Bronze medalists.

As this is the first edition of SoSOI, the medalists will become the first Solar System Informatics Olympiad medalists in history.

The olympiad is organized by our team with the goal of creating a new international competition for young programmers.
