I built an LLM-based portfolio

I’m also looking for a job. If you’re hiring for Backend / Go / Python3 / Java roles, I’d really appreciate a referral or a share.

What did I build?

Instead of an “About Me” section, you can just interrogate the chat about me, my projects, Codeforces, GitHub, etc.

Why all these backend technologies?

Honestly, a portfolio doesn’t need them.

I mainly built this to learn and understand how these systems work together.

• PostgreSQL for storing chats • Kafka for publishing chat events • OpenSearch for searching chats • Valkey for caching and rate limiting • Testcontainers for integration testing with real infrastructure

Definitely overengineered for a portfolio.

But I wanted to build something scalable instead of another static portfolio.
