What is CFInsights?
CFInsights is a web app that helps you deeply analyze your Codeforces performance and track your improvement.
It uses the official Codeforces API and gives you clean, easy-to-read dashboards — whether you're just starting out or already a specialist.
You don’t need to sign up. Just enter your handle and get a full breakdown of your CP journey.
The Two Modes — Solo & Compare
CFInsights has two powerful modes:
Solo Mode
Enter your own handle and get:
- Rating history graph
- Last 7 contests with rank and rating change
- Upcoming contests
- Language usage pie chart
- Submission verdict distribution
- Problem tag frequency
- Difficulty breakdown (Very Easy to Very Hard)
- Last 10 unsolved problems
- CFInsights Rating Score — our custom rating that tells how strong your profile is overall
- A practice dashboard built just for you based on your weak areas
And that’s not all — there’s even a heatmap and an advanced analysis section.
Compare Mode
Enter two handles and we compare:
- Rating graphs side by side
- Contest history
- Problem type and tag coverage
- Difficulty analysis
- Custom score for each user using the same formula
- “After X contests” analysis (performance until Xth contest)
- Verdict breakdowns, most used languages, upsolve behavior and more
Why I’m Building This (And You Might Feel the Same)
I often open Codeforces after a contest and feel stuck.
"Did I do well? Why did my rating drop again? Am I actually improving or just showing up?"
Sometimes I solve a bunch of problems, but still feel lost.
No idea what my weak topics are, what’s working, or what’s just noise.
Worse — when I see others improving faster, I start feeling that familiar FOMO.
"What are they doing that I’m not?"
CF has rating graphs and submission lists, but it doesn’t give me clarity.
I don’t want raw data — I want insight. Something that tells me where I stand, and what I should fix.
That’s why I’m building CFInsights — to give myself and others the kind of performance visibility a coach or mentor would provide.
It’s like a fitness tracker — but for competitive programming.
