Dear @MikeMirzayanov and the Codeforces Administration,

I am writing this blog with sincere regret regarding my mistake during a recent Codeforces contest, which resulted in the disabling of my account, @kr_madhukar.

I sincerely apologize to the Codeforces administration and the entire community for using AI assistance during a contest. I understand that this violated the contest rules and was unfair to participants who competed honestly. I take full responsibility for my actions, and I do not wish to make excuses or justify my decision.

After reflecting on this incident, I recognize that competitive programming is not simply about ratings, rankings, or the number of problems solved. It is about independent thinking, continuous learning, fair competition, and respect for the rules that make the platform valuable to everyone.

Codeforces has been an important part of my learning journey as a student. I have invested considerable time in practicing algorithms, solving problems, and improving my problem-solving skills. Losing access to my account has made me reflect seriously on the importance of integrity and the responsibility every participant has toward the community.

I understand why the rules must be enforced consistently to maintain a fair competitive environment. I respect the administration's responsibility to protect the integrity of contests, and I acknowledge that my actions did not meet the standards expected of a Codeforces participant.

I have already submitted a private appeal to the administration. I understand that reviewing such requests takes time, and I sincerely appreciate the team's consideration.

With humility, I respectfully request that the administration reconsider the disabling of my account and, if possible, give me one opportunity to continue my competitive programming journey. If reinstated, I will participate independently, follow the contest rules strictly, and refrain from using AI tools or any other external assistance during live contests.

I understand that an apology cannot undo my mistake, and I know that rebuilding trust requires responsible actions rather than words alone. I am committed to learning from this experience and ensuring that I do not repeat this mistake.

I sincerely regret my decision and apologize once again to the administration and the community. Whatever the outcome, I will respect the administration's decision and the principles of fair competition.

For context, I have attached a screenshot showing the current status of my account. I am sharing it only to explain my situation and support my humble request for reconsideration. I understand the seriousness of my mistake and will respect the administration's decision.

Thank you, Mike and the Codeforces administration, for taking the time to read my request.

Respectfully,
Madhukar
