If you go to the standings of May Long Div3, you will see that only two people have solved the last two problems. And everyone who has solved 6 problems are given the rank 3. In this case, all of these people will get performance according to rank 3.
But bro, what's the harm? Well, this completely destroys the purpose of solving 7 problems. By solving an extra problem you will get a rank 2, which won't even matter.
But bro, we cannot give penalty based on time since it's a long challenge right? Well, just sum up the number of participants that share the same score, and instead of giving a rank based on people who have scored strictly more, give rank according to people who have score equal or more (like it's usually done in every standings table).
Division 1 ranges from codeforces specialists to LGMs which makes no sense. Your opinions?
If u go through the rankings list of the last round. You can find SO MANY newbie accounts with highly obscufated codes. These are accounts belonging to a single person. Can anything be done about this? Edit: not just newbies, but specialists and pupils too. I would say there are atleast 100 of them if not more.
