codeforces is expecting newbies to solve Problems A,B,C in Div 2 contests to gain rating.

Like what the heck is this ?

I have been solving problem A and B consistently in Contests of Div 2 in 1 hour or 1.5 hours.

But still my rating is just going down like what the heck is this ?????

Does codeforces expects a newbie to solve Problems A,B,C in 1 hour ???

Its sooooo unfair, today my rating dropped by 33 points even though I solved 2 problems in 1 hour with score 1200 something in today's contest ( Codeforces round 1116 Div 2 )

Either I am dump, or majority of the people are cheating.....................

Yeah cheating has increased so much these days. When I was a newbie (like this is only 8 months ago), doing 2 problems would get a +ve delta. Even at ~1220 or so this would work.

    i feel the same , i haven't given a contest since april , when i got to specialist itself i had only done 3 problems in div2 , now 3 problems would cause -ve delta for sure

I have been solving problem A and B consistently in Contests of Div 2 in 1 hour or 1.5 hours. The thing is that 1 or 1.5 hours is not that quick. that is more than half of the usual contest. Also by that time cheaters catch on, which deflates the rating. The point is that don't blame everything around you. Grind more and eventually you will be up

    Yeah grinding is the ultimate truth...

    But still seeing rating drop sometime demotivates me..

Rating graph only drop by 200-300 as off now from my obs..So who ever performed around x rating before ai now performance drop by 200-300 after ai.

1-1.5 hrs is pretty slow for AB, you can't expect to do 2 gray problems slowly and still get pupil perf. Fast AB can still get you pupil unless C is too easy, and even a very slow ABC can keep you out of newbie.

    B is not gray problem you dont judge it with current AI era and very slow ABC cant keep out from newbie now its also will be newbie performance with cheaters. Now there exists different type of cheating not all cheaters solve 5-6 problems and many of them solve like 2-3 problems for not dropping rating
