Previously we used to have 9-10 rounds a month But now it's becoming less and less and the gap between two contest is very long. Previously we used to have alternative day contes.

number of contest in a month > number of problem you solve in a month
You can use virtual participation in older contests if you want. Also you can upsolve tasks if you want.
There are so many tasks on Codeforces!
Maybe having 2 contest a week (weekday & weekend) would be good balance for everyone (admins, writers, and participants). Personally, I want 2-3 days between at least, because I need to learn and upsolve the new stuff.
all problemsetters went to school
CF staff just ghosts problemsetters. It is no wonder that we are out of contests.
2 months later, I still have not been contacted by a single admin or coordinator. I dmed 3 separate coordinators (on either cf and discord) and all of them ghosted me. I eventually gave up and gave my problem ideas to another author (whose proposal is also now rotting in the queue, with 17 problems in it).
So yes, this probably has some role in the frequency of contests going down. It isn't the only reason (the main reason probably is covid related), but cf administration is definitely a bottleneck right now.
If they lack funding for hiring more people, they can just introduce ads imo. Also they can have some sort of sponsor system like github where people can pay and get some perks in return like not seeing ads.
Why the fuck would I want ads on codeforces. They can fund themselves purely through donations, this has already been demonstrated in the past. But forcing users to either pay or have ads on the site would be a slap in the face.
Sad, schools should be destroyed
Because of you guys... you people dont upvote contest blog properly neither appreciate author.
I give upvotes with my two account :3
And you say you "miss contests". Sure?
