Ashishgup A general query, how long does it normally take for problem submissions to be reviewed by the admins and get accepted or rejected?
Hey! It mostly does not take more than 1-2 weeks. If there is a 1+ month old submission that we have somehow missed, you can just reply to the email thread — you should get a reply.
For contests that are used for recruiting SDE's, isn't it better to make them global as Codeforces does? This way people from all divisions will compete equally, with the same problems.
If someone is new to Codechef, then he would have to take Div3, which is less challenging than Div1, isn't it unfair for him? A general tendency from a company perspective is to go for Div1 candidates, though a Div3 candidate could far better than the rest.
As a setter i post the
why special gifts and prizes are only for women??
I believe CodeChef dedicates prizes to women in March due to Women's Day falling in the month.
More information can be found in this blog.
Nice, when is men's day !! ;)
Well, according to statistics, almost all top programmers are men, so always)
Now that is a right motivation to code !
Is there any update about server issues? Will it be rated if there are long queues?
I don't understand. Did I say something wrong?
Ashishgup, It is quite commendable how cc servers have responded, so smoothly today while submitting. Kudos to you and your team. :-} Hope it continues in future contests as well. :)

I think that participation is quite less in today's contest.
We too felt the same given the way the site behaved. But it was not the case.
Some stats about the contest (all divisions).
Total Submissions = 60999
Total users who visited the contest page = 13705
Total users who made a submission = 10350
Total users with at least one AC = 9383
The tech team has done a good job to scale up the infra.
Yes Even I was amazed by the amount of change in the contest! GG!
