Opening this thread for discussion of APIO 2020.

Not really sure whether the problems themselves can be discussed yet (open contest) but the competition has officially ended :)

Edit 1: APIO 2020 Scientific Committee note: "As you mentioned, please refrain from publicly discuss APIO 2020 problems as there will still be an APIO 2020 open contest (public). We can publicly discuss the problems once the open contest has finished."

Feel free to discuss results, we'll only be able to discuss problem content after the open contest ends.

Hi. Thanks for your interest for discussing APIO 2020.

As you mentioned, please refrain from publicly discuss APIO 2020 problems as there will still be an APIO 2020 open contest (public). We can publicly discuss the problems once the open contest has finished.

Meanwhile, feel free to discuss the problemset and how the contest went between fellow registered APIO 2020 participants.

I am not sure if there were countries using the open contest as a selection, but it is better not to discuss, nor sharing scores as these may spoil for the participants of APIO Open.

I found only for some countries that they got 4 bronze medals (Armenia) so i can tell you the cut-offs if you want

    Since they originally planned APIO 2020 to be onsite, there might be real medals if they already made them. They will give certificates otherwise.

          Ouch, I don't know about this, thank you for the information.

          It's such a shame that a Chinese contestant don't know these

          btw, I'm not one of the 60 officials contestants though. I didn't manage to enter the official team of 60 peoples, but I can participate in the mirror contest for China instead. (toki.id prepared a special website for China mirror contest which is held at the same time as the official one.)

      AFAIK, if several people (from same country) have same score as 6th place, they all get same medals.
