When you got stuck on a question, the editorial comes to be very helpful isn't it. But the frustration comes when you didn't got the logic even through the editorial and decides to check solution in comments but the comment section is full of memes and all other stuff.

Honestly, I always kept enjoying memes, But there must be a way so that we can sort comments. For examole, we can put tag on each comment whether it is about problem A, problem D or even a humorous meme, after that its easy to sort them on basis of Question number or number of upvotes.

These are my suggestions and I hope that MikeMirzayanov would surely look into it.

Edit : There should be some way to sort comments on basis of Question Number.
PS : Feel free to comment more suggestions.

I agree, it seems pretty logical to sort the comments/threads using the problem tags, we can volunteer to make such changes if that's feasible.

Usually in the tutorial blogs there is no meme.

Except Jhin, no one should be allowed to post memes.

At times to look for explanation to a particular problem Ctrl+F with "E "/" E " for a problem doesn't help due to DIV1/DIV2 rounds. Adding a feature to tag the particular comment with a predefined placeholder can solve the problem.

In educational and div3 rounds, the editorials are released at least 12hrs after the contest ends. Meanwhile we the contestants discuss the problems under the announcement. Sometimes a very good approach is described in the comments. But they are just lost. Ex: When someone gives a virtual contest, he/she won't look at announcement comments. Even if he/she does look at announcement, but he/she has to look through 100s comments.

So, my solution to this is post a blank editorial or an editorial without code just after the contest. Because of this all the discussion will hopefully be done under the editorial page.

Tagging the frequent educational and div3 rounds' writers. awoo vovuh

Alternatively, why not just post the editorial immediately? Solutions are now public and solution ideas are publicly discussed in those 12 hours; why the delay in the editorial posting?

If the editorials are posted immediately, that would be great.

There is no such restriction that they should be posted after hacking phase ends. Just that they need time to write it.

Why don't they write it before the contest ends??

          Mike -
"We have an internal policy that editorials should be published not later than 24 hours after a round. I don't think that writers violate it often."

Writing good editorial needs a lot of time. Before contest preparing good quality contest should be the priority. As the op mentioned you have access to the comment section of announcement and solns. I will prefer that over a blank page with "Editorial will be added later." There are tons of such old blank editorials which never came out.

Honestly, these extra 24 hours are counterproductive. Preparing a good contest is a lot of work, of course. But nevertheless it includes writing a useful editorial.

It should be normal that the tutorial is available with the contest end.

Maybe something like Leetcode discussion will help a lot. where we can search for posts by votes, usefulness, or some problem tags present in it.

It can have a system like leetcode where we can easily find correct solutions in different approaches to any problem in any programming language.
