I am not sure whether there are stickied threads or not? But I see a lot of blog posts that happen to have vey same topics. And if I want to ask some newbie question, I know not where to post.
So, are there stickied threads already or if not, would it be a good idea to add them as a features for organizing posts and etc?

Blogs have "tag" system for that purpose only. You can search blog from the search bar and filter through tags there. But I guess most people don't use the tags properly and it makes it harder to search relevant blog. :(
