Invite others to virtual contest?

Hello,

If myself and a few friends want to participate in a past contest (compete against each other to solve a set of problems) via a virtual contest, how can we do this?

I tried setting up a virtual contest in the Gym, but there doesn't seem to be an option to invite others to the event.

Is there such a functionality?

Start the virtual contest at the same time. Then you guys will see each other in standings during the virtual.

    So, just to clarify, are you saying that if anyone else makes a virtual contest for the same problem-set they will automatically be assigned to the same virtual room?

      There's no hacking, so there's no "room" exactly.

      I think it would be nice to be able to create a virtual contest and send friends a link (otherwise it is tricky to coordinate "everyone type in X:YZ time" especially across time zones). It's not too bad currently, but would be a nice QoL feature.

You can start mashup contest instead of virtual contest then invite your friends using link of that contest.
