Who did the face recognition application software?

Now, I would like to do some interesting software with face recognition. Who can give me some suggestions?Especially to do some application direction.

Well, if I understand your question correctly, I can only suggest Artificial neural networks. I read they can also be used to recognise many things, e.g. the manual input. But I think there are some other better and easier methods.
