Hello Codeforces community!
I am interested if there will be a JBOI this year. I believe I have chance to participate in it. I am fourth for now. But difference between me and the first is 20 points.

It is very weird that Azerbaijan participates in JBMO (Junior Balkan Mathematics Olympiad) and BMO but not in JBOI or BOI. Even my age lets me participate in JBOI next year too, but unfortunately, I won't :(
Good luck all participants!
So my teachers told me that there will be a JBOI this year, between 7-13 september in Bulgaria, Sofia.
At that time, EJOI's first edition will be held. I think it'll be the same situation as when no country hosted JBOI and it was held in the same time with Shumen Tournament and with the same tasks. You can check it up here
So wait, i've never heard about EJOI, it is something new , and there is written that it wil be held in Sofia between 7-13 september as i said about JBOI. May be my teacher told me about the date of EJOI, may be there will not be JBOI but EJOI which is cooler because there are 23 countries participating and not 10 like at JBOI. There is written that Moldova will also participate, so that's cool. I have already classified myself first between juniors in my country, so i will participate then at EJOI to JBOI. Cool!
I confirm that this is EJOI, not JBOI. I hope you will have both. However, if no news come out until the end of this month, then most likely there won't be a JBOI since it takes time to organize such events.
Wasn't JBOI organized in a month for the last two years? If I recall correctly, both times the original host bailed and Macedonia had to jump in really late.
I believe this was not the case for the last year. But for the one before that, yeah sure. But if this year's eventual JBOI matches the dates used the last two years, then it will most likely collide with EJOI which is not cool. This is why I am a bit skeptical.
