...for what I've done in the past few days.
Firstly, I want to apologize cry and other users who I DMed. I'm sorry for disturbing all of you in the recent days. Yes, I know that what I did is stupid, but to be honest, I don't know what to do in that situation.
Secondly, I want to apologize the users who are intending to make a div3/4 but now can't do it because of the limit. I, myself, am one of them so I understand how angry you are, and how much hate you are having on me ;). "hi my name is duy mince 3434 and today im gonnan propose actual shit in a kettle to cry" — someone said that about me lol. So, I sincerely apologize to all of you, because of this dumb mistake.
Thirdly, and finally, I want to apologize my friend dinhhuubaonam123, who had spent sooo much time on making the contest. Yes, I'm dumb, sorry ;).
So it's the end for this blog, I hope that I can be forgived for what I've done. Bye, and good luck participating in the upcoming round 1128!

Yeah whatever now pay me 50$ for the problems before I crash out
At first I thought about adding rickroll in the end of the blog, but this blog should be serious, so I didn't do it ;)
btw now I officially have more rating than you son
i can predict his reply to ur comment if he got more delta in today's round
Auto comment: topic has been updated by DuyMinh3005 (previous revision, new revision, compare).
Friend? What is that? I haven't heard of it since I was born
Alongside rating, we should also have a lowerbound on age to be able to access the internet.
Was this really your fault? If anything the change made it looser (div3/4 are impossible to propose even for master+) -> div3/4 is possible with cm or expert with diabolical number of contests
Both of your accounts are less than one year old. Don't you think it's a bit too early to be proposing a contest that will likely have over 30,000 members participating in it?
The point is that new users shouldn't be able to propose contests :)
Anyhoo, if you're interested in becoming a problemsetter, great! Please don't have your first contest be a rated one unless you have years of experience (which is what the contest requirement for proposing as an Expert/CM does). No matter how high-quality you think your contest proposal is, you'll never know how good of a problemsetter you are until you've hosted a contest and received participant feedback on it at least once or twice, and that first time ideally shouldn't be with a rated contest. Since it appears that both of you are from the same school, you should consider making your own school competition and advertising it on Codeforces if you really want to have others participate in your contest.
Either way that's just my two cents on the situation. (I do agree that the barrier for entry should be a bit lower, maybe as a combination of both account age and contests participated, but that's also just me being salty that I haven't met the problemsetting criteria either.) Don't be too hard on yourself but also realize that, realistically, being able to propose a rated Div3/4 less than one year after account creation is never going to happen.
I think on CF we have the prereview and coordinator systems to catch those problems before they happen so it's not that big of a deal. I think getting a round on CF just feels better (I know that is how I felt) and making the rating floor as low as possible (as long as Um_nik does not get flooded with prereview requests) is fine since the actual quality filtering happens there.
Yeah, but catching those problems take a lot of time and if everybody can propose a half-baked problemset then I imagine coordinators aren't going to be very happy. I support the idea of a lower rating floor allowing more people to problemset but that lower rating floor should be offset by a corresponding amount of experience, so the problemsets going to coordinators are less likely to have those fundamental flaws.
I agree with this (and what you said above about the barrier for entry being a bit lower)
My main issue with lowering it significantly like greateric is suggesting is that despite there being a filter, theres gonna be a huge amount of requests, and I do not want cf problem setting to get fucked the way the j*b market is now, so a lower rating bound is fine, and a semi high contest requirement is fine too, though 100 is still too much imo
edit: i didnt read the comment below ig its not 100
Yeah I think I agree with both of you that there just has to be a balance with not annoying the coords.
Speaking of coords, nifeshe how are you doing today my master?
I'm apologizing the other users, not begging for mercy so that I can make a contest.
Aren't you literally participating in the Div1+2 right now? lock in bro
Oh yes :skull:
sure. low experience user like duyminh anh dhbn aren't enough experienced to contribute to the cf community
Tbh it's true
It's not true, it has a bit more complicated rule: have at leats X rounds after which you become or stay 1600+ througout whole history. And X is much less than a 100.
That's the whole point of having requirements.
Thank you for your explanation :D
I find it hard to believe that the intersection of not cm+ and not having done x contests and being a talented problemsetter is not worth the risk that come with having basically any random being eligible to make a round that many users participate in. Also I do not know for certain if this is true but the limiting factor to rounds seems to be coordinators' time rather than proposed rounds which leads me to believe that having this influx of lower rated problemsetters diluting the field may be a negative upon contest quality.
