I have an idea about how we can detect cheaters more easily.
We can create an extension or an automated system that checks submissions of each contest. The system can compare the codes with GPT, Claude and Gemini to find submissions that look very similar or suspicious. If the system finds a suspicious submission, it can automatically send it to the admins for checking. The admins can then decide if the user is cheating or not.
I think this system can help us find many cheaters and make contests more fair. Of course, it may sometimes make mistakes, so the final decision should be made by the mods.
Edit: The system can check like this: first check rank 1 — 100 then 101 — 200.... like this.
Isn't that what the mods do anyways
I mean automating it is fine but it will have 2000 flaws anyways because it's basically the plagiarism check but for AI
Can't a cheater simply read the code, understand the logic and rewrite it?
I say, care less about cheaters and compete with and only with yourself
It is time to accept that the majority of people are utilizing AI therefore, we must honestly reflect on how much we are truly growing
also he/she can look at code and will write code with that idea and easily we can detect it is llm because llm's thinking style and ideas are so different
