After Codeforces Round 1116 (Div. 1), LLI_E_P_JI_O_K, ranking $$$6$$$, has finally reached the title of Legendary Grandmaster! (Maybe he will be ranked even higher after the cheaters are removed).
All the long years of practice have finally paid off. I hope he inspires everyone in CF community, proving that nothing is impossible if you put in hard work.

bro preordered his LGM title
But how can one break through his bottleneck after so many years? What did he do during 2019–2025? TBH, I didn’t see practice or hard work of his on Codeforces based on the statistics in these years. Did he train on some other platforms?

Can you share with me your SKILL.md LLI_E_P_JI_O_K

Taking contests is a lose-lose proposition right now, if one cares even a little bit about one's rating or social perception:
What signs give away the fact that this guy is cheating? I wouldn't say this kind of improvement is impossible, so is it something about his submissions? Obvious signs of LLM usage?
I believe this kind of improvement is impossible. And more so if it translates to a very consistent winstreak.
at some point, don't we have to start going by the probability that someone is cheating? anyone can remove chatgpt comments from their code. anyone. and some people are getting like $$$14$$$ positive deltas in a row, that's already roughly around a $$$2^{-14}$$$ chance of happening. why not just ban these people?
That's not how it works
its not a 50% chance to get positive Delta
if you pick a starting contest, are consistently doing contests (so your rating is at your ability level), and are not cheating, then it is more or less $$$50\%$$$. maybe the first contest you have a slightly higher chance of getting positive elo since you're consistently doing contests, but each time you gain rating, the chances of gaining rating again go down. and by your $$$6^{th}$$$ contest or so, you're already so far above your baseline that there might only be a $$$25\%$$$ chance of gaining rating again. so I'd say the probability is $$$ \lt 2^{-14}$$$. it has just become so normalized now since everyone and their mother is cheating.
The person in question has a skipped contest however if someone practised for years it is expected they're not at current contest level, so you cant judge based off that alone
I can judge based on that alone. Also, you are cheating too, with this unnecessary $$$LLM$$$ line
added to your second submission of $$$F$$$ in this contest
but what does it matter anymore? for once um_nik hits the nail on the head, why skip the obvious cheaters at this point? everyone right beside you in the ranks is cheating too. the entire competitive aspect of this site is just a big facade now.
Github copilot (which is allowed) also makes if (!(cin)). Likewise there are no AI comments or similar. Of course people are way too trigger happy with cheater accusations though
I have no word here as I just started participating in contests therefore I have no credibility yet, however wouldn't a system like chess's be just better and actually feasible too?
They ban based on statistical possibility of match performance not win streaks. Like realistically one can perform ever so slightly better (though you are right that eventually everyone should have off days too), but what is not so realistic, is some random dude with 0 activity finishing top 10 in div2, for 5 contests in a row.
And then because by the nature of competitive programming it is very possible that someone already has been practicing on other sites or is just smurfing, perhaps even just has a github with proof of actual practice (thinking of solved problems, templates, theory docs) there could also be a possibility of appealing post ban, if one can prove credibility.
Or am I wrong here?
After long years of practice I finally reached the title of Grandmaster, almost 1000 away from my max rating. I really need to learn from him!
unrelated but nice pfp love the beach boys especially their track "Heroes and Villains"
we didn't know how good we had it like a year ago

Absolute Cinema.
Maybe he will be unranked after the cheaters are removed.
lmao bro predicted it
lol
how do they remove cheaters ?
would also like to shout out AJ123496 for some of their strong performances recently! :)
bro in fact did not make lgm
KnownAsJasonKnownAsExpertNot anymore
this did not age well...
That was, most likely, the point of this blog though
Maybe he jinxed it; it would be probable to believe that, since he placed 6th in the prelims.
I'm sorry, I shouldn't have mentioned the Russia-Ukraine war, sorry.
Is ur comment belong to this blog?
I remember this guy proved the author solution to be wrong in a round 9 years ago comment
But to be clear I think he is cheating now
I believe these users should be reviewed:

In both cases, the change in rating is quite rare.
Wow, skipped
Masaka... How come an ex-LGM made a post about a cheater? Certain people here were trying to convince everyone that only low-rated participants “waste” their time discussing cheating.
They are just too disgusting.
There is a difference between this blog and the usual "cheater exposed" blogs.
What's the difference? The cheater is higher rated?
It is funny. It is short. It trusts readers to be smart enough to make their own conclusions. It doesn't accuse anyone on flimsy evidence, because it doesn't accuse anyone. It doesn't ping Mike, KAN, and everyone in top-10 for no reason. Should I go on?
Lower-rated people be like "we write the same type of blogs and you downvote us, that's ratist!". Write good fucking blogs, and you will be upvoted. For some reason, there is a correlation between rating and ability to write cohesive funny texts.
And yes, who the cheater in question is is also important. When you pick one from a thousand cheating cyans, and then spend 2 hours searching for "evidence" of their cheating, it seems like a personal vendetta. This blog works because I don't need to have any feelings towards the person to see that "didn't participate in contests for 7 years and then suddenly started consistently placing in top-10 in div1" is insane.
since it is interesting (at least to me), I will add that both these skills seem to be highly correlated with general intelligence. apparently, successful comedians have average $$$IQ$$$s of $$$125+$$$ or maybe even $$$130+$$$, so the high g-loadings probably explain most of the correlation.
Fuck, I wanted to joke about IQ, but apparently even a whiff of a thought about it brings you into the conversation.
Reds think the same, talk the same (what a paradox), behave the same, and look the same. What a disgusting kingdom of meritocracy. Even the word meritocracy sounds disgusting (maybe just to me). What is IQ? It, forgive my grey (actually green) chain of thought, is pattern recognition. What is pattern recognition, then? It is something my pocket computer can do. Someone can say (for example, me) that reds are a necessity for greys. Without reds, there will be no greys. But that is the plot from a Russian writer. And I have got a rule of thumb that every idea presented by a Russian writer is wrong. Just trust me on why reds are not a necessity for greys, for now.
What else? Oh, my statement can also be justified by the fact that whatever Elon Musk (whom I respect) does is also done with higher quality and at a cheaper price by the Chinese. What do the Chinese do? Basically, talented Chinese children get an upbringing like vegetables (which I don't complain about in a one-dimensional way). The better analogy is a factory of microchips in one facility and talented children in a neighboring facility.
And you know what is the worst thing about reds? It can't be undone. A red is forever red. Some people go for alcohol, others for drugs and similar. Just to get back to the ability to not pattern-recognize, but actually to understand something. The other question that someone can ask (for example, me) is how to oppose reds, how to oppose terminators, how to oppose meritocrats. I thought about it for a day and came to a conclusion that to fight a terminator, one must become a terminator. When I think longer, sometimes, I reach different conclusions than the initial one. But for now — to fight a red, one has to become a red himself. The human brain is flexible and it just needs to find the ways that others got from the beginning.
About comedians. I agree that there is a correlation between good comedians and high IQ. Is there something more disgusting than a comedian, to be honest? I don't want to offend anyone. A person can possess different qualities inside a single individual. Sometimes. And there's no way to check if it is that time. Is there something more disgusting than a comedian? Revisiting the same well-known patterns of humor. Even the word comedian sounds disgusting. Not just to me. Just listen — comedian. Try to properly pronounce — c-o-m-e-d-i-a-n. Grey Lives Matter (More?)!
Jesus teaches to forgive, so will I, who don't understand why should I?
you ok there bud?
Yes?
"For some reason, there is a correlation..."
With my friend (or did I misunderstand, as always, and he is my enemy — greys... hard to tell what they are up to. But Jesus loves us all. I would say Jesus loves greys even more — to compensate! Don't be jealous) bill_s, we gave birth to the idea of JOKERFORCES. User bill_s says he is an LGM there. Humor is not my cup of tea. It appears to me that programming is neither. Jesus loves me twice as much as your dog is loyal to you! So here I come...
An alien abducts a Tatar, a Ukrainian, and a Russian. He locks everyone in separate rooms and gives each participant two Rubik's Cubes.— 'Show us aliens how developed your civilization is by creating a performance. You've got only one day, and the one with the worst performance will be killed. The other two will be free to go back to Earth.'
...to be continued.
Half the time I don't understand what you're saying and the other half I don't understand why you're saying it
"humor is not my cup of tea" Yeah, I can see that. You're saying that "We gave birth to the "JOKERFORCES"". That shit was a joke too. You bring that up like it's a real website.
You're also ratist while saying that you're not.
Finally, don't call me a friend.
I understand the frustration. Sorry. Well written.
Will not. I am as good as dead to you from now on.
Let’s be honest for a second… If a newbie wrote this post, it will be ignored at best and downvoted at worst. It’s not a bad thing, because higher rated people make better judgements with their experience and connections in the community, but let’s not pretend it’s a problem of only “quality of posts”.
Error_Yuan did you skip his submissions? Why?
I did not. I think it should be some of the CF admins, because I can't see who skipped it from Judge Protocol
Common sense
Yeah, you know that I disagree with your definition of common sense and how it is applicable to banning people.
The wind is so strong today...
cheating is haram ..
he is cheater, his submission is skipped
I suspect he might be a cheater
