Hello Competitive Programmers !

While watching Solo Leveling, I realized something... Competitive Programming already feels like an RPG.

  • Every programmer is a Hunter.
  • Every contest is a Dungeon Gate.
  • Every problem is a Monster.
  • Every Accepted submission is a Monster Defeated.
  • Every rating milestone is a Hunter Rank Promotion.
  • And YOU are the PLAYER

The only thing missing...

The System.

So I built CF Hunter System.

What is CF Hunter System?

CF Hunter System is a Chrome Extension that transforms Codeforces into an immersive RPG-inspired experience. It doesn't modify Codeforces or your rating.

Instead, it analyzes your public Codeforces data and overlays a completely new experience on top of the website.

You become the Player.

The extension becomes your System.

The World of CF Hunter System

What Does the CF Hunter System Actually Do?

The moment you open Codeforces, the System awakens.

Instead of looking at Codeforces as just another competitive programming website, the System transforms it into an RPG world inspired by Solo Leveling.

You are no longer just another competitive programmer.

You become the Player.

The System begins analyzing your journey, your battles, your strengths, and your growth.

Hunter Analysis (Know Yourself)

Every Hunter needs to understand their own strength before entering a Dungeon Gate.

The Hunter Analysis screen transforms your ordinary Codeforces profile into a complete Hunter Profile.

Instead of only seeing your Codeforces rating, the System analyzes your entire competitive programming journey and generates statistics such as:

  • Hunter Rank — Based on your official Codeforces rating.
  • Hunter Level — A long-term progression metric that reflects your overall growth as a programmer, not just your latest contest.
  • Mana Power — Your current combat strength based on your recent performance and activity.
  • Combat Proficiency — A measure of the strongest monsters you've defeated throughout your journey.
  • Skill Affinities — Your natural strengths in areas like Dynamic Programming, Graphs, Math, Greedy, Binary Search and more.
  • Activity Statistics — Monsters defeated, active days, highest-ranked monster hunted, consistency, and much more.

Instead of asking, "What is my rating?"

the System asks, "What kind of Hunter have you become?"

Hunter Analysis (Analyze Other Hunters)

One of my favorite features is that the System doesn't stop at analyzing you. Visit any Codeforces profile, and the System performs a complete Hunter Analysis for that programmer as well. Want to know how dangerous your next opponent is before a contest? Simply open their profile.

The System reveals their Hunter Profile, including: - Hunter Rank - Hunter Level - Mana Power - Combat Proficiency - Skill Affinities - Overall Hunter Statistics

Suddenly, browsing another user's profile no longer feels like looking at numbers on a webpage.

It feels like reading the dossier of another Hunter before entering battle.

Gate Analysis (Every Contest is a Dungeon Gate)

Every Codeforces contest becomes a Dungeon Gate waiting to be cleared. When you open a contest page, the System immediately scans the Gate and compares its difficulty against your Hunter Profile.

Instead of simply seeing: Codeforces Round #1234

you might see something like: Dungeon Gate : A-Rank Threat Assessment ⚠ Catastrophic Risk

The contest itself hasn't changed.

Your perspective has.

Now every contest feels like preparing to enter an unknown Dungeon where your skills will truly be tested.

Monster Analysis (Every Problem is a Battle)

In the world of CF Hunter System, problems aren't just numbered by rating. They're Monsters. Whenever you open a problem, the System analyzes it and generates a complete Monster Profile.

It estimates things like: - Monster Rank - Threat Level - Difficulty Class - Required Hunter Attributes - Expected Combat Strength

A simple 1700-rated problem suddenly becomes Elite Orc Commander or a 2500-rated problem may be classified as Ancient Dragon

Instead of thinking, "I need to solve another 1700."

you start thinking, "Can I defeat this monster?"

It may sound like a small psychological shift, but it makes everyday practice feel far more engaging.

Behind the System:

Although CF Hunter System looks like a UI extension, the real work happens behind the scenes.

A dedicated backend engine analyzes your public Codeforces history, processes your submissions, computes progression metrics, and synchronizes your Hunter Profile efficiently using incremental updates and background processing. The result is a lightweight experience that feels instantaneous while handling even very large submission histories.

John F. Kennedy wasn't lying. We do choose to do things not because they are useful, but because they are excuses to vibecode another Codeforces extension.
