Why doesn't Codeforces fully delete cheater accounts?

These cheaters are stealing good handles, why can't cheater accounts be fully deleted so that their haaandles get freed up again.

        Hey guys, I know this isn't what you all were expecting, but I'd like to apologize for cheating with AI.

        I made a poor decision, and regardless of the circumstances or my reasoning at the time, it wasn't fair to the other contestants or to the spirit of competitive programming. Codeforces is built on trust, and by using outside assistance during a contest, I violated that trust. I understand why people are disappointed, and I accept responsibility for what I did.

        I've spent some time thinking about it, and I realize that improving as a programmer means solving problems myself, even when it's frustrating or tempting to look for shortcuts. A rating earned that way isn't meaningful, and I'd rather improve honestly than have results I didn't actually earn.

        I also discovered that "the autocomplete got a little too enthusiastic" is not, in fact, a compelling defense. Going forward, I'll compete fairly and keep AI for practice and learning outside of contests, where it actually belongs.

    If you want to catch an actual cheater, I would recommend taking a look at the user: Greateric

    He was pretty much at CM level since spawning into codeforces (which is really rare unless you are a cracked math kid) -- But then quickly cheated his way to Master. He has only solved 300 problems and consistently speedruns non-trivial div2 problems to gain rating. Like he's a really smart cheater because he waits for a lot of legit people to solve a problem before submitting his AI generated solution to not get caught.

These kid is good at leaving genuinely braindead comments, why can't his account be fully deleted so that I don't have to use DNR's extension.

    Why are you so mad about others voicing their opinion, these commments aren't being directed towards you. I understand this is a Russian website and that it doesn't support free speech like the US does. And you want to be Stalin and silence any opinion that is not your own, asking CF to delete my completely legit account? Who's braindead here, the dumbass asking CF to delete a completely legit account or me, trying to understand why CF doesn't fully delete cheater accounts?

    I don't think making bad comments deserves a ban, as there is already a system to negatively impact those who do such things in the form of contribution. You are in the same boat here, one can easily block your brainless comment of calling to ban a user with poor reasoning. And without people seeing your comments what is the point of your account, having 10:1 comment to problem ratio :clown:
