Don't even look at the standings or your rating. Compare yourself to yourself yesterday. You are in a competition with your old self, not with cheaters.
If you want to look at standings for fun, there exists an amazing feature I've always used even before AI cheating became a thing. It's called "Friends Standings" (ideally, those are not cheaters and those are people you are actively competing with)

To add to this, the posts that "expose" cheaters or propose draconian solutions to catch cheaters are wholly unhelpful. I hope we can get back to informative learning posts being the norm; I want to learn something new, not be inundated with doomer posts!
Also, even though rating deflation exists, your rank will still tread upwards slightly as you get better. So when you compare yourself between contests, you can still see an improvement, even if it is not as much as it would have been 4-5 years ago.

I agree. I would also go as far as to say that the amount of cheaters might start to go down over time as more people realize that cheating really just makes no sense.
The problem is that we will never know if the number of cheaters is actually going down, because there is no longer any way to tell if someone is cheating. At this point, I do not believe fair online contests are possible. Sad to see that this happening before I even start giving contests.

How do we judge the difficulty of a problem now? And how do we really catch cheaters? Anybody with a good understanding can cheat, and we would never know(especially ratings till CM),
I see a lot of people getting so many weird rating jumps. I believe I am dumb, but is it so easy to get to CM that now people are doing it in <10 contests?
Indeed, this is the problem. With AI, cheating will always be possible and it will always be easy to hide it. We should call out cheaters for their own sake, but we should understand that they will always affect standings. As happyrebecca and aedmhsn2006 said, if the number of cheaters is stable then really everything is just deflated. For example a 2000 rated problem before cheating would be 1900 or 1800 now. It's about time we get used to the new deflated rating distribution.
