What happens when competitive programming meets real-world issues? You get PRO-TEST.
The Coding Club, IIT Ropar is proud to present a one-of-a-kind coding contest that goes beyond algorithms and implementation. PRO-TEST is designed to blend problem-solving with awareness, drawing inspiration from issues that shape conversations around us-accountability, justice, corruption, protests, and systemic failures.
This is not just about solving problems within time limits. This is about thinking, questioning, and using logic as a tool for change.
Code the change. Question the system.
Each problem in this contest carries a theme inspired by contemporary issues, challenging participants to not only think computationally but also reflect on the systems around them. Through this contest, we aim to show that coding is not isolated from society-it can be a medium to express ideas, challenge narratives, and inspire change.

Whether you are here to compete, challenge yourself, or simply experience something different, PRO-TEST promises a contest unlike any other.
Question. Code. Resist. Change.

What is the reason for your protest?
-_-
It’s a PRO-TEST, not protest. It’s just a super fun competitive programming contest where we decided to give the problem statements a cool real-world theme instead of the usual 'Alice and Bob' stories...
I was just kidding, man!
Looking forward to it.
Awesome! See you on the leaderboard on Sunday!
