Whats the reason for reduction in frequency of contests nowadays ? Like just 1 or max 2 per week.

Is it due to cheating or some other reason ?

Contests to the people! How hard is it to build a working contest preparation system? It’s not exactly state‑of‑the‑art technology.

Since you are Pupil, I believe you have not set a single contest; therefore, you would not truly know how hard it is to set one. From the sliver of knowledge I have about setting contests, I believe it takes a lot of time and effort, especially if you are trying to create one that would satisfy thousands upon thousands of people.

i was making irony of the people writing this blog and trying to say that it is hard to do one while also making reference of the game Cities:Skylines.(there is a chirper line when you dont connect the power grids which says "Power to the people! How hard is it to build a working power grid? It’s not exactly state‑of‑the‑art technology.")in conclusion, i didnt mean to offend anybody and i can think of many problems that you can come across while problem setting. i am sorry if i offended you.

No, I am certainly not offended, as I have never participated in setting a contest. I only wanted you to cut the contest setters some slack, as it is not an easy task.

just for one problem you need to build up a checker, validator, the correct solution make the problem text itself and translate it, then send it to the coordinator and if he doesn't approve it, debug it.

Not quite. Preparation is always exists. Problemsetters would like to choose weekends to host their contests though they will have to wait.
