CCF is not a government agency. It is a civilian association similar to the ACM and IEEE.
It's very easy to check whether an institution is a government agency in other countries, but things are weird in China and you know why. The CCF, and the organisers of other science olympiads in China, are all members of the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), which is affiliated to the Communist Party. Rounds up to national (e.g., Thailand OI) is managed by POSN (The Promotion of Academic Olympiad and Development of Science Education Foundation under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Vadhana Krom Luang Naradhiwas Rajanagarindra). Training camp managed by IPST (Institute for the Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology).
B1 Grade 7 for informatics and math, Grade 9 for physics, chemistry, biology (for Bangkok POSN centers only. I believe it’s similar in other regions)
B2 About 10 centers, each with some hundreds (100 to 2000 idk depending on center) contestants. The number reduced recently due to the introduction of a preliminary requirement. Note that the first round is a paper-based math/code exam.
B3 idk. I did it since Grade 7 (but for math). I think people become more aware in high school (Grade 10).
B4 Grade 8 ig (first round in Grade 7 + 1 year of selection)

C1 There are portfolio-based admissions, and Olympiads are heavily weighted. I’d say that if you apply to the subject of your Olympiad, and you won gold in national round, you have a very very high chance of admission. The chance is decent even with lower medals or if you did not have the Olympiad in that exact subject.
C2 National representatives(e.g., IOI contestants) may take a full ride to any uni overseas up to doctorate under bond conditions of working for government the same number of years of your study. Training camp participants are also eligible if the representatives refused their scholarship.
D1 There are many tutoring courses for early stages. There’s less for high levels (national level and above).
D2 I think it’s perceived as a national success thing too.
D3 Probably portfolio-based admissions. In higher levels, it might be more interest-driven.

The only change is that TST is having 3 problems and a total score of 300 points for each day, so APIO score (out of 300) and TST (out of 600) are added together (900 points maximum) to select the IOI team.
There're no age restrictions on the IOI team (aside from being a high schooler), many did it while only being in 10th grade, so a maximum of 3 times.
Usually 600-700 students are selected for round 1 of our national olympiad, through provincial or school selection tests.
Part D is simmilar to the above.
We have no proper Informatics Olympiad, so for the informatics specific questions, I will refer to BwInf (National Informatics competition, is a documentation-based homework-copmpetition) which gets closest to this and is the contest where people for IOI-qualification-rounds are selected A) 1. B) 1. from 1st grade, for younger students there may be less rounds (so no national round for example) 2. 1500-2000 students 3. different from student to student and olympiad to olympiad. For example MO is introduced quite early with a competition for 3rd-graders, but I believe people start sweating for it in 8th grade. For informatics I dont think there are many people actively preparing for it. 4. afaik there ir no explicit limit, but it's really hard at younger age. This year, everyone participating in IOI-qualification rounds was in 10th grade at least. 5. afaik there is no explicit limit.
C) 1. not 100% sure. Afaik most universities have no entrance exam, you just submit your resume. For that, having won a medal definetly helps a lot. 2. IOI-particiapants and national winners at BwInf get into German Academic Scholarship Foundation without further selection process. Some universities offer scholarships to students that have reached a specific level.
D) 1. For everyone in the qualification process (top 60) there are lectures and practice contests for preparation. Also afaik there is a big preparation program for girls going on. As already mentioned there is like no national informatics olympiad, instead there is BwInf which is fun too, but not cp. There are also two easier competitions for younger students (One of them is held in Blockly, a language similiar to Scratch and the other one rarely ever forces you to code). IOI-selection is not competitive imo, at least when compared to other countries of similiar population. 2. If you win a medal at IOI or IMO or you win BwInf, there may be one or two articles in regional newspapers, but besides that nobody cares really I believe. 3. fun, curiosity and boredom ig.

College and career opportunities
The number of participants drops off significantly throughout the year. Last year's open had around 4000 pre-college students while December had 12000. Also, the 7770 number is just bronze, silver had 2802 and gold had 1242 for this year's first contest.
Also, for B3, it might be true that most campers/IOI may have started in middle school but most American students don't know about USACO at all, and I think most bronze participants probably started in high school.

No direct admissions, but we also don't have entrance exams anyways. Instead, we have to write essays to show our "personality" or something. Based on past statistics, camp qualification seems to have a large effect on exactly one college and a smaller effect on other top colleges.

Many students participate to have fun, or because competitive programming can look good on a résumé.)

D The saudi olympiad is unfortunately underwhelming, Out of 11,000 students, 2% of them are your competition if you are already comfortable with CodeForces. Its cultural significance is very high, as in gulf culture, honor and education are highly valued.
Student Motivation: The national olympiad offers an experience like never before, you get to travel a ton (and best part, skip school! which is my favorite part), you get to know several people who are your main source of motivation, national rewards, social (& familial) rewards.
