ive been wanting to participate in good bye 2025 since ive joined (past two months) but under the current circumstances it looks like im gonna have to do it on my phone. do you guys have any tips for programming on your phone? currently im using usaco ide and gboard as my keyboard (i was having issues with swiftkey).

Program in browser with the problems in another tabs, turn off autocorrect if you can. Practice problems specifically on your phone and you'll get used to it. Good luck.
My tips would be: Prepare a clean template beforehand so you don’t type too much during contest. Stick to problems you’re comfortable with — avoid heavy implementation. Use phone landscape mode or add external keyboard if possible (huge help). USACO IDE + Gboard is a decent setup already.
Good luck for Good Bye 2025!
thanks ill make a template rn
According to my own experience, you can download offline ide for c++, that will be much more convenient to solve the contest
you are about to get TLE on typing the code.
I would jokingly say my only tip to doing codeforces in your phone is not to do it, because from my experience it's extremely frustrating as everything is very slow (even though I'm a fast typer) and youd need a well prepared ide and that was difficult to find for me, but I would advice you to attempt a virtual contest or solve a couple of problems on your phone before you actually join the contest to get used to it if you really insist
When I code on my phone, I use an app called Coding C++. It's quite comfortable.
