IOI Medalist Returning After a Year

Hey everyone, I've been away from Codeforces for about a year now. As an IOI medalist, I'd love to reconnect with the community and hear about how life has been for y'all. What’s the coolest opportunity CP opened up for you this year?

This seems like it could be a good post. Something that I found interesting is that, in order to solve the knight's tour problem on some rectangular board, you can just move the knight to a square with the least possible number of legal moves. And that works in $$$99\%$$$ of cases or something.

I also enjoyed learning about heavy-light and centroid decomposition, but I haven't seen any contest problem where you use these.

    That's pretty interesting. It sounds like the opposite of what logic would tell you to do. I don't even remember the last time I saw a centroid problem.
