Update #2: ACPC 2025 and ICPC Qualified
Yesterday, we competed in the Arab & African Collegiate Programming Contest (ACPC) 2025, which we were able to attend thanks to the fundraising campaign and everyone who supported it.
We are proud to announce that our team achieved the following results:
Ranked 10th overall across Africa and the Arab region
Won a Bronze Medal
Qualified for the ICPC World Finals 2026

Update #1: We Did It!
We’ve successfully collected all the needed funds. We truly appreciate everyone who supported us and shared our campaign — your help made this achievement possible! 
The Story
After 4 years of non-stop training, countless virtuals, and sleepless nights, our team “L3nt-ElManifa” from Menoufia University — Sersawy, Khalwsh, -Ahmed_-_Elsayed- — finally made history by winning the Gold Medal at the Egyptian Collegiate Programming Contest (ECPC) 2025. It’s the first-ever Gold for our university!
With this result, we qualified to represent Menoufia University and Egypt at the ACPC (Arab & African Collegiate Programming Contest) in Luxor, Egypt (Dec 12, 2025) — the regional contest that decides who makes it to the ICPC World Finals.
The Challenge
However, we’re currently facing financial constraints that could prevent us from participating. The total cost is 75,000 EGP (~1,587 USD), covering registration, travel, and accommodation.

What a sad reality, 1500 USD just to take part in the weakest regional contest. Hope you secure the funding you need. See you at the dreaded ACPC.

they should really start calling these medals golden rather than gold. cuz if they were gold, you could sell just one and be fine (especially considering the price of gold these days).
You should spam ACPC and ICPC. They claim that there is no problem with high registration fees and there are sponsors that can cover these fees.

Seriously it's really costly for a student to participate in ICPC with their own personal budget. Even I will have to go on an India tour just for regionals.
