I resubmitted my solution to problem B (I forgot to ios::sync the first time :( ). However, my first accepted solution is showing Skipped. Is that expected? I hope it is, because my first and second submissions are literally the same
Also, its extremely saddening how not adding the ios::sync line gives a TLE. I submitted the first time with my submission taking exactly 1 second to get accepted, but did not notice that time limit was also 1 second, and unfortunately when I did it was too late. I managed to submit the 2nd solution by adding ios::sync, but I noticed my rank dropped to 8k+ :(( Wish 2 seconds were given for this problem

is it the norm in codeforces to downvote newbie/ pupil posts without reading them
When you submit codes in a problem, codeforces only chooses the latest AC submission in that problem to be the submission used in system testing, the rest gets skipped. This is to save time in system testing.
So yes, it is expected.
ok thanks, just one question, how can my submission be differentiated from plagiarised code? my contest didnt get skipped and 2nd submission got AC, so ig thats the indication?
If you had plagiarised code, all of your submissions for that problem (including the latest AC submission) will be skipped
your previous submissions is skipped and your most recent submission is judged , I do not think there should be any issues
It happens on CF in contest . When you resubmit a solution to a problem you have already solved, the previous accepted submission will be marked as Skipped even if it was Accepted and moreover About the TLE . ios::sync_with_stdio(false); with cin.tie(NULL); can make a huge difference in tight time limits, especially when input size is large and you're using cin/cout.
