Same with flag of Afghanistan. I assume CF uses a flag package instead of manually picking them, so updating/replacing that package would update whichever flag changes got to it so far.

      Giving an undefined phrase "internationally recognised" doesn't really mean anything. In the absence of any other authority (including a government in exile), the flag is what those controlling the country say is the flag. That goes for every country.

        True but Europe and USA don't recognize Taliban or their flag so basically they choose what to recognize and thus no Taliban flag

          Fortunately CF isn't a government website, so it doesn't have any government telling it what flags to use. Unfortunately, with servers in Russia, Russia could come in and command what has to happen — and if servers were based in USA, USA could do the same. Therefore, let's hope CF doesn't attract any unnecessary attention. Using a 3rd party flag set for convenience instead of manually deciding which flags to use should help with that.

        Of course there is "internationally recognised national flag". It's flag that national mission provided to UN Chief of Protocol according to https://www.un.org/dgacm/sites/www.un.org.dgacm/files/Documents_Protocol/manual_of_protocol_english_original.pdf XVII "Change of the Official Name or the National Flag of a Member State"
